At the shows, matches, litter and news in general at Zesta:

December

Maxwell got his AAC Master Jumpers title (SMJDC) at the DAL show.
 

November

Alfie got his CKC agility novice (AGN) title Tug got his CKC agility intermediate (AGI) title at the Fort Sask. trials. 

Plus Kaiser and Maxwell got their first Scent Hurdle points towards their CKC novice scent hurdle title.  

Maverick becomes a daddy on November 14th, to 3 sable boys and 1 sable girl, Proud mama is Ch. Zesta Queen of Swords (Tessa).

November 10th and 11th - Grande Prairie

Well the 2 boys shared all the male points, Zesta Sportin' Attitude - Tyson was a last minute replacement entry for  Zesta Any Which Way You Can  - Clint who went on a sight seeing trip of South Edmonton for 33 days.  Tyson picked up four points and is now on the dreaded 9.  And not to be out done by his littermates Quake and Laila,  Zesta Showin' Up aka Jet makes his ring debut  and comes home with 5 points of which one was a Best of Winners under respected judge Archie Warnock who also gave his littermate Laila , Best of Opposite.

We also had a nice litter born of 5 babies 3 tris and 2 blues  this is the repeat of Barbie so it was great week-end.

November 3rd & 4th -  Red Deer Dog Show

Chelson's Annie Get your Gun is Reserve Winners Female both days and New CH. Zesta Earth Shattering is Best of Opposite  and Best Puppy in Breed on Saturday.

October

October 28th, Lower Mainland

Wow! What a finish to the weekend. Quake wins the breed from the junior puppy class then on to a Group 4th and puppy in Group to finish his Championship with his littermate sister Laila  going Best of Opposite to him. what a great weekend for the 2 youngsters.

October 27th, Lower Mainland

Jenn finishes the day off with  Ch. Zesta  Creatin' Havoc (Havoc) going Best of Opposite Sex over a tough class of male specials.

Ch. Zesta Showin' Off - Laila  wins the  Best Puppy in Breed

Zesta Earth Shattering (Quake)  goes winners dog for his 2nd set of points

October 26th, Lower Mainland

Zesta Showin' Off - Laila  wins the junior puppy class and goes Winners, Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Breed Laila to finish her championship.

Zesta Earth Shattering (Quake)  goes reserve winners.

October 25th, Peace Arch Working Herding Specialty

Jenn finishes the day off with  Ch. Zesta  Creatin' Havoc (Havoc) going Best of Opposite Sex. Great start to the weekend in BC.

Zesta Showin' Off - Laila  wins the junior puppy class and goes Winners, Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Breed Laila now has 7 points.

Zesta Earth Shattering (Quake) wins the junior puppy male class and goes reserve winners.

Thanks to Rod Oishi and Gail Stewart for making sure the babies get in the ring.

October 12th, & 14th-  Battle River Canine Association - Camrose Alberta

Zesta Showin' Off - Laila  makes her debut and comes away on Sunday at the CSSA Booster under judge Fred Gordon with Winners female for her first set of points.

Zesta Earth Shattering (Quake) continues his ways going Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Breed for his first points.  Our new girl Annie - Chelson's Annie Get Your Gun makes her Canadian debut and comes out with her first points, it's a great start to the weekend.

October 06th, Working Herding Specialty - Red Deer

Zesta Earth Shattering (Quake) makes his ring debut at the under breeder judge Leslie Rogers where he wins the junior puppy class and goes on to be reserve winners male.

Zesta Little Tug Boat CD - Tug earns his first leg in Open. Way to go Anja.

September

September 28, 29, 30th

Lloyd. Shows.

Weekend starts off slow with Cooper going reserve winners on Friday and then it picks up on Saturday with a Winners Dog on Cooper placing him on 9 points and Barbie is Reserve Winners female. Then we have the big finish on Sunday with Cooper going Best of Winners (from the Junior Puppy class) to finish and Best Puppy in Group. Not to be out done Havoc goes Best of Breed and 3rd in Group.

Weekend finished on quite a high until Anja calls to say that Clint slipped his collar on a walk and is missing.

September 19th,  20th

Havoc heads south to Montana with his best friend Tracy where he goes Winners Dog then under the guidance of Bev Klassen he goes on to win Best of Winners for another couple of points.  Thanks Ladies.

September 7th, 08th,09th

What a weekend at the Edmonton Kennel Club shows.  Friday started with Barbie - Zesta Cabaret Dancer going Winners female for her 2nd set of points under judge Shirley Limoges.  Onto Saturday where the Obedience dogs strut there stuff...  Zesta A Knights Tale CD (Max) owned and loved by Linda and Rick Snider going High in both Novice A Classes to complete his CD title. Then Anja Neumann receives 4 HIC from Novice B to earn our Alfie - Zesta Perfect Match CD, Anja also received a qualifier in Open B with Baron. Melani Smith received 4 qualifiers in Open B with Kerra  Zesta Take Kerra Business CDX and on Sunday,  Cooper went Winners Dog and Best Puppy in Breed and Barbie was Reserve Winners female.

September 01st , 2nd and 3rd.

Tracy, Jenn and Gabe went to the All-Breed Dog show in Saskatoon and came away with a few wins.  Under judge Butch MacDonald  Zesta Two Brothers (Cooper) his 2nd set of points and  Zesta Cabaret Dancer (Barbie) was Reserve Winners with Ch. Zesta Five Stars (Ritz) going Best of opposite all weekend.

On Sunday . at the Working Herding Specialty under judge Cheryl Stuber -  Zesta Two Brothers (Cooper) picked up another point and  Zesta Cabaret Dancer (Barbie) was Best of Winners for a 5 point win and Best Puppy and Ch. Zesta Five Stars (Ritz) was Best of Opposite Sex.

Congratulations to the Schafers in the obedience ring with Zesta Haylie Brig CGN who was in Novice A and went High In Class for a qualifying round.

August

August 24, 25, 26th.

In the All-Breed on Saturday under judge Carmen Haller - Zesta Two Brothers (Cooper)  picks up his first set of points towards his championship. Congrats to Francine on this wonderful boy.

On Saturday. at the BC Sheltie Specialty under breeder judge Janet Sinclair - Ch. Zesta  Creatin' Havoc (Havoc) is Best of Opposite Sex.

Jenn has been going through the dog show withdrawals and so headed to Cranbrook BC,  this time taking hubby Gabe along.  The show starts off with Zesta Two Brothers (Cooper) owned by Francine Champagne-Poholka making his ring debut and going Reserve Winners. 

In the BC Sheltie Specialty - Sweepstakes under judge Lawrence Sinclair,  Barbie - Zesta Cabaret Dancer makes her debut and goes Runner up in Sweeps. What a start for this baby.

Again it has been a pretty slow month for dog shows . Jenn has actually had a few weekends off to spend at home with hubby Gabe.

On Aug 5th Havoc goes Best of Opposite at the AKC shows in Calgary.

July

July was a pretty quiet month for showing.
