At the shows, matches, litter and news in general at Zesta:
June 18th - Ryder became a Dad on June 18th, 2005 to five puppies, born at Mosaic Shelties - 3 boys, 2 girls, 3 sables and 2 tricolours.
June 04th -- What a day again! Wins in both rings with Zesta Get Smart CDX NJC (Maxwell) picking up two legs in utility and High Scoring Sheltie in class for the CSSA Booster. Not to be out down Zesta Kaiser Wilhelm CDX, NJC also picks up a leg towards his Utility title. Congrats Anja working 2 dogs in utility at the NACA shows. And in the conformation ring at the Shetland Sheepdog Fanciers Club (SSFC) Specialty Show. Sweeps judging by Larry Ermel, The Boys - Zesta Five Stars wins the 9-12 month class and Ch. Zesta Creatin' Havoc wins the 12-18 month class. The girls Zesta Rising Mystic Star places 4th in the 6-9 month class and Ch. Zesta Wild Card places third in the 12-18 month class. Thanks to judge Larry Ermel of Shadlar Shelties. From here things got even better in the Specialty Show under judge Sulie Greendale-Paveza (Sonata Shelties) with Zesta Five Stars again winning his class and then going Reserve Winners Male. In the Specials ring both boys Ch. Zesta Riding High and Ch. Zesta Creatin Havoc made the cut with the Havoc going on to an Award of Merit Win. Ch. Chelson Northern Star wins the Sire and Get Class with the above named kids. Thanks to Jenn, (Ritz, Havoc's handler) Gabe (Mr. Stud - Brady's handler), Natalie ( Ryder's handler) and Sarah (ring side prep for all and Zoe's handler) for all of your help with getting these kids to look fabulous in the ring!
May 27th - 29th -- What a weekend titles in both rings. Zesta Love Match CD completes her Novice obedience title. Congratulations Anja and Steffi. Keeping it in the family this weekend, Steffi's mum is new Ch. Zesta Party of Five completing her championship at the Northlands Kennel Club shows in Fort Mc Murray, AB. Julie's son Zesta Five Stars picked up another couple of points and Best Puppy in Breed wins. Both as always were guided to their wins by Jenn deBoer with the assistance of good friend Sarah Pearson.
May 23rd -- Zesta Crossing Jordan receives her 2nd set of points, but not to be outdone by her son Zesta A Dance To Remember starts his championship going Best of Winners (over his Mum), Best Puppy in Breed and concludes the weekend with another Best Puppy in Group (bringing his total for the weekend to 5 under judge Doreen Marsh at the Fort St. John Kennel Club shows at Taylor BC. Thanks to Margaret Zacher (LadyMagic Shelties) for pitching in and taking Mambo to the Best of Winners win. Both were handled/groomed by Jenn deBoer in the classes.
May 23rd -- Zesta Crossing Jordan receives her 1st set of points going Best of Winners under respected judge Terry Carter at the Fort St. John Kennel Club shows at Taylor BC. Exclusively handled and groomed by Jenn deBoer
May 21-23rd -- Zesta A Dance To Remember starts his show career with 4 Best Puppy in Groups at the Fort St. John Kennel Club shows at Taylor BC. Always expertly handled and groomed by Jenn deBoer
April 22nd -24th -- Ch. Zesta Riding High finishes the weekend at the Edmonton Kennel Club shows with a Group 01st under judge Warren Hood. At the same set of shows Zesta Five Stars was Reserve Male under Mr. & Mrs. Shoreman. Always expertly handled and groomed by Jenn deBoer
April 10th -- Ch. Zesta Riding High takes Best of Breed at the Battleford Shows. At the same show Zesta Party of Five was Reserve Female and her son Zesta Five Stars was Reserve Male and Best Puppy under judge L. Betts Expertly handled and groomed by Jenn deBoer
April 09th -- New Champion Zesta Riding High takes Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed to finish his Canadian Championship and become the 3rd champion for this Dad - Brady. At the same show Zesta Party of Five picked up her 2nd set of points and Zesta Five Stars was Reserve Male and Best Puppy under judge Pat Miller. Congratulations Jenn! April 08th -- This was a surprise you expect one dog to do something and out of the blue the puppy you sent for practice walks away with his 1st set of points. Ritz aka Zesta Five Stars was Winners Dog, Best Puppy and Best of Opposite to his mother Julie - Zesta Party of Five and if that was not enough his mothers win included a Best of Breed and a Group 4th under judge Charles Betts. Expertly handled by Jenn deBoer and assisted by Nicole Schuster.
April 02nd -- Zesta Riding High takes Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a five point win under judge Walter Pinsker at the Red Deer and District Shows in Red Deer AB. Expertly handled by Jenn deBoer
March 25th -- Zesta Love Match qualifies in her first two appearances in the obedience ring taking 2 High in Classes and a High in Trial as well as High Sheltie Overall in the CSSA Booster. Congrats to Co-owner handler Anja Neumann.
March 25th -- Zesta Riding High takes Winners Dog at the Battle River Canine Assoc. Spring Shows in Camrose under judge Wayne Thompson. Expertly handled by Jenn deBoer.
March 06th -- Zesta Get Smart CDX AGN... Maxwell finished his title in one week-end of Agility. Great job! Anja Congratulations!
March 05th - 06th -- OTCH Zesta Baron Von Otto AGI. OAC. TN-N TN-G NJC SADC .. Baron was the devil's dog in disguise this week-end and had a fun time rather than a good time.
March 05th -- Zesta Kaiser Wilhem CDX AGN ... Kaiser completes his Agility Novice title and qualifies in his first round of Intermediates.. Great job Anja Congratulations.

February 18th -- Zesta Caitlin's Way (Katie) has a litter of 2 - 1 sable boy and 1 tricolour sired by Ch. Chelson's Northern Star. Watch for pictures
February 05th -- Zesta Ally McBeal has a super litter of 5 boys 3 sables and 2 tricolours sired by Ch. Chelson's Northern Star. Watch for pictures coming.
February 04th - 07th -- Zesta Sportin' Blue, Zesta Five Stars, Zesta Crossing Jordan make a return to the ring at Calgary.
January 19th -- Zesta Sportin' Blue becomes a Dad. Proud papa to a beautiful blue girl mom Zesta Miss Molly doing well. Watch for pictures coming.
January 09th -- Mosaic Designer Blu'z ... Hunter does well at his first fun match of the year. Thanks Natalie and Jenn.
